Kapirintiwa Traditional Shrine Gallery

Title: Kapirintiwa Traditional Shrine

Description: The site is the first settlement area for the Chewa people when they arrived in Malawi. It also has a shrine associated with the rain making tradition. On one of the knolls within the area, it is believed that there are footprints of animals and people but these cannot be seen physically unless the visitors’ eyes are opened spiritually through rituals.
